Burray Primary School is now housed in a purpose-built state of the art modern building, and received its official opening by Council Convener Stephen Hagan, on February 19th, 2007.

There is a linked headship, under Jack Cromarty, with Hope Primary School. The school has two 'composite' classes, P1-4 and P5-7, taught by one full-time teacher and two job-sharing teachers, assisted by a team of part-time and visiting teachers.
